ABOUT US

Who We Are

We are a Nigerian Dwarf and Saanen goat farm. Some of our best milk comes from the blend of our "Saangerians" with a nice fat content to make luxurious soaps. There is a lot of boring science stuff behind the reason we prefer the Saangerian milk, but we won't bore you. One cool fact is goats milk is naturally homogenized, meaning the cream doesn't rise to the top like cows milk. This makes getting cream to make ice cream just that much harder! The people are really serious around here and don't play around when it comes to milking and soap production time. We are a small team of three that produce the soaps you know and love! Another fun fact, the Silly Goats outnumber the humans!

OUR FARM: GROWING FOR THE FUTURE

Literally, One Silly Goat at a Time

Growing is what we do! When we have Silly Goat Kids, we are able to have that sweet liquid gold from Silly Goat Mommas! Sometimes we sell our Silly Kids when we don't want to expand the herd. So if you're interested in growing your own Silly herd, email us at Billy@SillyGoatFarm.com

THE BEGINNING

Serving the Community since 2020

We had just bought a property with some pastured land in June of 2020 after having been in France for nearly a year. There was a great desire to have fresh, raw milk for our family. Mr. Silly Goat Dad mentioned goats as a possibility to have on the farm. We found our matriarchs, Pickle and Whiskey, and added them to the farm in July of 2020. They quickly found their way into our hearts and we added another 7 Silly Goats from a herd in Unionville, Tennessee. Little Silly Goat Kid named all of them except for Charley. Grey Head, Black Head, Dark Rock, Light Rock, and, our patriarch, Cow.
